Seaside Sunshine Card

Hello everyone! Justin here, and today I am showing off an A2-card that I created using the new Waves of Cheer Stamp Set and Hello Sunshine Word Dies! I just love these images included in the Waves of Cheer Stamp Set because they are perfect for solid image stamping to create a background, which is exactly what I did!

Below is a supply list of products I used to create this card!

Pink & Main Products Used:
Waves of Cheer Stamp Set
Hello Sunshine Word Dies
The World To Me Glitter Enamel Dots
Year Round Dots & Stripes Paper Pack

Other Products Used:
Catherine Pooler Inks: Do-Si-Do, Catching Rays, Lime Rickey, Aquatini, Fiesta Blue, Something Borrowed, Serenade
Blending Cardstock
Metallic Watercolor Accents
Foam Tape

Creating this background was super easy. I had all of my stamps from Waves of Cheer laid out and placed on their own individual acrylic blocks. I would stamp one at a time, and alternating between the images so I was able to stamp an image that fit best into the spacing given. I thought it was really important to make sure that the pattern overlapped the edge of the card, so it looked like I cut a piece of patterned paper! Once all my images were stamped, I splattered the panel with Metallic Watercolor.

Creating my sentiment was super easy as well. I die cut the words “hello” from white cardstock, the word “sunshine” in the yellow striped pattern from the Year Round Dots & Stripes Paper Pack, and the shadow piece in the aqua polka dot print from the same paper pack. I adhered my words to the shadow die cut, and then adhered the entire unit to my card using foam tape!

For some finishing embellishments, I grabbed the Mean the World to Me Glitter Enamel Dots and placed a few of them in clusters on my project, and I was completed!
