Hello, Pink & Main friends and fans!
It’s Savannah O’Gwynn, and I’m back to share a colored creation using the newest P&M products!!! **Be sure to read through this post to see another creation that has even MORE NEW P&M goodies!
SLTC#37, Colored Image #39 + Lessons Learned + Mistakes
SLTC#37, image #39: Did you see that I changed this image??? I couldn’t help myself! I love the idea of a snowman ice cream cone melting upside down! All I did to create this “new” image was mask my snowman image and stamp him a few times for different layers of the ice cream.
I also kept the “fudge” or “topping” as his hair!
This is a very simple card… but with lots of detail! I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE how he turned out;)
LL (Lessons Learned): As I continue on my coloring journey, I have more and more lessons that I’ve learned. Sometimes I RE-learn something I should have learned with my first mistakes 😂 I think I’m slow at learning how to color… but I have to say the techniques I’ve been using are working for me:)
I used the lightest gray inks to add highlighting for this little snowman. I decided to use yellow inks for the cone. A very simple design and coloring image– I needed that since I’ve been making so many die cut cards!! I thought I would forget how to color since it’s been so long, but I didn’t:) I think I even did BETTER than before because check out how many mistakes I made!!!
Mistakes: So you can’t see the mistakes on this card because it happened when I was embossing the background and trying to emboss the sentiment. My mistakes were not while coloring… Sooooooooooooooo— let’s say there are NO mistakes on this card 🤩
I hope my card has inspired you to pull out your P&M goodies and create a holiday card today! You better start making your cards for the upcoming holidays— it will be here before you know it!!! *This is actually a good reminder for me too! I am always LATE when sending holiday cards! LOL!
I’ll be back with MORE soon— be sure to check out my IG page HERE because I will be sharing 4 cards that my Mom made while she was here visiting! She used lots of P&M goodies on her creations!!! She’s a natural and who I get all of my crafty genes from, for sure!!!
Please remember to share what you create using these techniques, if you are learning to color with me, or if you use these P&M stamp/die sets so I can leave you some love ❤️
THANKS so much for stopping by! Happy crafting!!!
Hugs ❤️ Savannah
