Hello, Pink & Main friends and fans!
It’s Savannah O’Gwynn, and I’m back to share an OUT OF THIS WORLD creation using the newest P&M goodies!
SLTC#34, Colored Image #38
This card was so fun to create! Here’s what I loved:
- I loved using some new synthetic papers and alcohol inks to create the background design.
- I loved loved loved coloring this little space cadet from the NEW P&M Out of This World set— I thought I might have forgotten how to color, but I didn’t!
- I actually created several backgrounds with the synthetic papers and alcohol inks— I will be using ALL of the sentiments and other images from this stamp set to create MORE galaxy cards!
Lessons Learned
I tried to apply some of the coloring lessons I learned a few images ago to this card…
- I added dots as shading and for dimension on the planet. I think that worked well!
- I also learned that splatter on alcohol inked backgrounds smears when it’s not dry 🤦🏼♀️ You would think I would know this by now! LOL!
- I learned that using a different colored embossing powder other than gold and black really makes the sentiment POP! I used the NEW P&M Magic Crystal embossing powders— and P&M released two other NEW colors!!! Check them out HERE!
- Finally, another lesson I already learned but needed reminding… small images might use double or triple the number of markers to color 🙃 Check out the pile of markers I used to create this card below! LOL!
I hope my card has inspired you to pull out your P&M goodies and create an OUT OF THIS WORLD card today!
I’ll be back with MORE to share soon! Please remember to share what you create using these techniques, if you are learning to color with me (I’ll be sharing MORE colored images soon), or if you use these P&M stamp/die sets so I can leave you some love ❤️
THANKS so much for stopping by! Happy crafting!!! Hugs ❤️ Savannah
