Hey everyone. It’s Dana here with you today. I’m so thrilled to be sharing a card using the new Tea-rific stamp set and coordinating dies. I am so in love with this simple yet elegant stamp set. It’s perfect to mix with all mediums as a focal point on your card.
For my card I started off by coloring one of my tea pots with Copic markers in shades of teal and gold die cut it out with the coordinating die. I set this aside to make my backdrop for my tea pot to sit.
I pulled out some Yupo paper and alcohol inks and mixed shades of teal and gold together making sure to keep the background airy and light. I used a few circle dies to cut out a medium size and two small size circles. I adhered them diagonally across a white card base. Next I glued on a few gold gems for added interest. I then stamped a sentiment from the Tea-rific stamp set in veramark ink onto black card stock. I heat embossed it with white embossing powder to make the sentiment pop. All that was left was to pop up the cute tea pot and sentiment strip over the center circle.
Keeping just these elements on the card really made my little tea pot the center point of focus. I mean I would LOVE to have a tea pot that cute.
Another great way to use your tea pots are to make a really cool background using various pots across a card panel. Quick and simple cards for mass production. 😉
Thanks for stopping by today. I’ll see you back here soon.
