Happy Tuesday Friends! Katie here today. I was out of town last week, enjoying summer and family. I always take some kind of art with me for fun and relaxation, this trip, I took some P&M images to color and used colored pencils. Copics are definitely my preferred method of coloring, but taking them all on a trip is cumbersome, so I took my Prismacolor pencils instead. It was a good challenge for me to try to color with them. On my way out of town, I hit up the craft store and found a new Prismacolor pencil to blend my pencils. When I got back, I whipped some of the images up into cards. Here are two:
Aren’t these little mice cute!? I think they are delightful. They are from the Stamp and Die of the Month called Fall Mice. I set the images aside and cut some paper from the Falling For You paper pack. I mounted it using my EZ Tear Tape. Next, I used some Pebble Cardstock and cut out two hearts using the Double Stitched Heart Die. Then I added some gel highlights to my images and mounted them using foam tape. I added black glaze pen to the eyes for a little extra pop. Lastly, I stamped the sentiments on white and put them in the lower right corner.
Here is a close up of each card. I’d be curious to know which one you like best. I can’t chose myself, they are both so cute. I had fun pulling in those non traditional colors too, the fuscia and the teal, super fun!
Of course, I am a blue person and a coffee person… so maybe the second, but…. nope, can’t decide!
I do hope you like these cute critters and as always, appreciate your visiting. Please hit up the shop to pick up this awesome stamp & die of the month, these are such a great steal! Also, check out IG, FB, and YT for more fun and inspiration.
