Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today to share a card I created using Pink and Main’s stamp set named, Perfect Couple, along with a couple of dies to create this fun and colorful card.
To start off, I wanted to create a card panel using the new Watercolor Foil 6×6 paper pad. I’m in love with these papers, they are so pretty! I actually decided to trim down half inch strips of 6 of the 12 designs. I picked a variety to match the many colors I used for the balloons in the stamp image. I added adhesive all over the A2 card panel and added the different strips at a diagonal.
Once all the strips were on the card panel, I trimmed off the excess of strips and I die cut my panel using the largest die (4 x 5.25) in the Stitched Rectangles Set 2. This leaves a nice white border around the panel helping it pop.
I colored up the image of the Perfect Couple in the hot air balloon and die cut it using the coordinating dies. I wanted to use one of the small stitched rectangles from the same Stitched Rectangles Set 2 but I did want to give it a little bit of interest by adding light clouds in the background so it wouldn’t just be stark white. I added clouds by using the Cloudy Frames die cut as a stencil. I love the extra detail of stitching around the two panels.
To finish it off the card, I stamped the sentiment to the clouds background. I just love the foil on these papers.
I hope you enjoy today’s card and thanks for stopping by! Come back soon!
Adorable card! Love the foil paper background!
Have a great day!
