Today I’m chillin’ with peppermints and penguins! There’s so many wonderful frosty fun goodies at Pink & Main to create fabulous holiday and winter themed projects!
For my card, I layered red cardstock to the card base. I then cut white cardstock with one of the Stitched Rectangle Set 2 dies. To create the snow globe shape, I cut an opening in the card front and cut out a piece of silver glitter cardstock from the Metallics Glitter Paper pack with one of the Double Stitched Dome dies. Using the the same die, I cut a piece of lime green cardstock and cut the bottom strip to create the snow globe base. With the Swirly Stencil, I applied the new Glossy Gel with one of the new Palette Knives and sprinkled on Emerald Super Fine Glitter to create the glittery peppermint swirls down the side of the card front.
To complete, I added the adorable penguin from the Polly and Pete Jolly stamp set with coordinating die. For the sentiment, I used the Christmas Greetings die set to cut vellum for the ‘shadow’ and black cardstock for the words.
