Hello crafty friends. It’s Lisa Mears (@LisaMearsDesigns) on the blog today. I’m so excited to be sharing with you a super fun patriotic “coffee” card I made with the May Mug stamp set.
Watch the Video:
The May Mug stamp set features this adorable patriotic mug. Through May 24, 2024, Pink and Main is giving away the May Mug stamp for FREE with a $50 purchase. If you spend $75, you can get the coordinating dies for FREE! If you miss out on this offer, this stamp set can always be purchased individually.
I colored the mug with Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens in the following colors: Red, True Blue, Mid Brown, Cool Gray, Light Gray, and the Blender. I colored the stars with Light Carmine and Light Blue. I die cut the stamps with the coordinating dies.
For the background of my card, I used the In the Stars Foilable Panel. These panels come in black and white. I used the white panel and foiled it with the Diamond Plated Cheerfoil. After foiling, I inked the background with the following Distress Oxide inks: Tumbled Glass and Prize Ribbon. I added some glitter to the stars with a Scrapbook.com Glitter Brush pen.
I stamped the sentiment “or was that my coffee ” inside the card and added a few more stars.
Don’t forget to hop over to YouTube to watch me make this card.
