It’s almost Christmas? If you celebrate it that is. I am excited for many reasons: 1- I have family coming into town 2- It is currently snowing and 3- I have time off from work. Woohoo!
Speaking of snow, have you checked out the new release yet. SOOOOOO cute! I can’t even with these penguins! I had a blast making this card using some non traditional colors. Here is how I made it:
I started by stamping out my penguin from Snow One Like You and coloring it with copics. I used C7, C5, C3, C1, YG07, YG16, R24, R22, RV42, Y38, Y35, BG49, BG15, BG45, BG10, YG17, YG25, YG03. Next, I used the Snow One Like You Die to cut it out. Next I cut a sheet of white to 4 X 5.25. I ran this through the big shot using the Snow Day Embossing Folder. After that, I used a bit of Saltwater Taffy and Pumpkin Distress oxide to color it using the Mini Ergonomic Blending Brush. I mounted this onto a white base using EZ Tear Tape. I mounted the image using foam tape. Then I die cut the Hello from the Hello Sunshine die and distressed it as well. I stamped the sentiment from the set on white and then used my Large Sentiment Strip Dies to cut it out and tucked it under the die cuts which are popped up with foam tape. Finally, i added some Vitamin Sea Enamel Dots as the finishing touch.
I freaking adore this penguin and want them to come to my house to hang out. We would be great friends!
