Hello, friends!! Laurie here to share a cute tea themed card using the new Tea-rific Stamp Set! I’m more of a coffee drinker myself, but do enjoy a cup of Earl Grey tea every now and then!
I started by making my own stencil by cutting the Basket Cover Die out of some plain printer paper. I love doing this to get more use out of those cover dies!! I blended some light purple ink onto a white card panel to create a bit of texture.
I stamped, coloured and die cut one of the beautiful teapots and a mug. For whatever reason, I was feeling a purple and green combination. I trimmed the stencilled panel down to 3.75 X 5.5 inches and added a strip of paper from the Watercolor Foil Paper Pack. This is probably one of the most beautiful pattern paper packs in the world!!! No joke!
I thought it would be cute to have my cup and teapot sitting on a “shelf”, so I used one of my favourite and most used P&M die sets, Lacy Border Dies. Before foam mounting all the images, I stamped the sentiment in a slightly darker purple.
I adhered the panel directly to a top fold, A2 card base and added a few Rose Gold Glossy Dots which coordinate with the dots in the patterned paper.
I love this new set and know you will too!!
Thanks so much for dropping by this morning!! Have a wonderful Monday!!
Laurie
