Hello Pink and Main friends. It’s Donna here. I”m bringing you a sweet fall card today using the oh so sweet “Oh Nuts” stamp set, with a mix of watercolour and Copic colouring, Here in Southern Australia, the weather is still icy, and it’s been hailing on and off all week, so the weather was perfect for some colouring!
I have made a video of this card, which you can see here

The star of the show today is the Oh Nuts stamp set, and I’ve used the matching dies as well, just to make my life easier. I started by stamping the lovely oak tree image onto some watercolour paper with Versafine Onyx Black ink, which will not smudge when I put water over it. I then wet the page, and added some Peacock Feathers Distress ink for my sky, dropping it in here and there and letting (and by letting, I mean helping – I’m a fiddler) it move around the page. I then used a brown watercolour brush to fill in the tree, before adding some green to the grass and leaves.
The squirrels and acorns were stamped in Memento Tuxedo black ink, and coloured with my copics. I added some shadows and details with coloured pencils too. I stamped the sentiment onto black paper and heat embossed it in white embossing powder.
To assemble the cards I added a background of patterned paper from the Pumpkin Season Paper Pad, then layered on my watercolour panel before adding the squirrels and acorns with a mix of glue and foam tape. The sentiment was popped up with foam tape.
Scene cards are some of my favourites to make, and this one was no exception. Until next time, let’s get crafty!
Blessings,
Donna
