Hey crafty friends, Amanda here, sharing a sneak peek into this month’s big release. I love ocean cards so I had to use this set first.
I created a square card 5×5 and then added a frame around the edge. I used the fun new paper pack for the front of my card Ocean Life these papers are AMAZING. I wanted a whimsical look and feel to this card so I chose none traditional colors for the whale, as I wanted that to stand out from my backgrounds and I used Distress inks for my blending.
For the Inside, I used a variety of Products from this release. I wanted the middle to pop out so I trimed papers so my images would do that when you open the card.
For the background, I used the new stencil Ocean Floor Stencil, chose dark colors for the fish, and used glitter past for the bubbles.
I wanted the center to feel like a party so I took the sentiment die from Birthday Sentiments and die-cut that out of glitter gold paper. and for the top of the ocean, I used the die Waves and Scallops Border Dies and placed it reversed at the top for an ocean wave.

Is there a video on how to get the characters to stand out. I see strips of paper in the background but don’t know how to create this beautiful card.
