Happy first day of Autumn! Annie back with a new card featuring the adorable “Nut House” stamp set released this month. This set is chock full of images that are perfect for creating fall scenes. I love the little squirrel house included and can’t wait to make another card using it! For today, though, I decided to just play with one of the squirrels and some of the smaller images included in the set.
I started by cutting out my leafy overlay from some woodgrain cardstock and layering this over a wine-colored cardbase. Then I stamped one of the sentiments from the set onto a matching die-cut flag and heat-embossed this in gold. My squirrel and acorns were all colored with Copic markers and die-cut using the matching “Nut House Dies”…I loved not having to fussy-cut these!
To bring in one more gold element and finish off my card, I hid a few metallic gold sequins in my leafy cut-out panel. I hope you enjoyed this card project…for additional supply details, please visit my blog!
Super duper cute!!
Have a blessed day,
