Namaste

Happy Wednesday Friends! I hope today’s post brings you glad tidings and a reminder that self-care is super important. We all need to take some time out to do a little something for ourselves now and then. For some of us it is crafting, maybe reading, exercising such as yoga, or all of the above. Whatever that is for you, please do it, because you are important!

Now with that PSA out of the way, let me share my card. Today’s card is bright, but also calm and cool with those blue and purple tones. It was pretty fun to make and gives me a good smile. Perfect for a friend or family member who needs a reminder about self care, and it was pretty easy to make. here is how I did it:

I started by stamping my image from the Namaste Stamp Set and coloring it with my Copics (E00, E02, E25, E33, E35, E53, BG32, V12, V15. V17). Then it was cut out using the Coordinating Namaste Dies. Next, I re-stamped the top using some of the paper form the Butterfly Kisses Paper Pack. I also used that for the background paper and the strip. Once that was on the background, I then cut out these Nested Hexagon Dies in white. I used my Mini Ergo Blending Brush to add color, using Salvaged Patina for the outer layer, Wilted Violet for the next layer and kept the internal layer white. I stamped the sentiment on the white and popped up my gal on top. I stamped the butterflies using more distress ink (Violet, Pistachio, Mermaid and Patina). I mounted those around and added some Crystal Gems with glue dots.

She is pretty cute isn’t she, I love her. Tell me, what are you going to do to take care of yourself today or this week? I am going to craft and do some yoga!

Here is one last look.

Thanks for visiting today, hope that you enjoyed this post. Please be sure to check out the shop and all our other inspiration stops!
