Hello hello Pink and Main friends. It’s Donna here again with a card that highlights one of the things that I think Pink and Main does best – adorable critters. Today we have a sweet mouse, with an equally adorable snow- mouse.

There have been so many wonderful stencils released in the past few months and this gorgeous Roundabout stencil from the latest release is one of the stars! I’ve used it’s 6 sided nature to represent snowflakes on today’s card. To make this background, I concentrated the ink blending it two places where the elements would be, and faded out from there. To add more structure to my background, I used the Layered rectangle dies to create a frame. I used the centre of the frame to align it on the card.
You can see this process on the video here:

The mouse and his buddy are from the Christmouse stamp set, and I’ve cut them with the matching die. I stamped using alcohol friendly ink, and coloured them with my copics. Right at the end, I decided to use a little piece of terry toweling ( I hope that’s not only an Australian term!) to soak up some ink and give the mouse some furry texture. I thought I’d ruined the card! Too much ink came off, and an eery green started showing through. But, another coat of Copic marker brought my mouse back to life!

The sentiment is from the same stamp set, and I thought it matched the image perfectly! I hope you have enjoyed this card, and are inspired to get creative.
Until next time, may your days be crafty!
Blessings,
Donna
