Hello Pink and Main friends. It’s Donna here. Are you in love with the latest paper pad release? I am! I had been looking for a pad just like Be Merry, and was so happy when Pink and Main came up with exactly the thing! For some reason, I just love the addition of blue and pink to the traditional Christmas colours. Perhaps it’s because being Australian, I’m used to sunny skies and warm weather for Christmas, and the lighter, brighter colours suit the occasion.
Today’s card is designed to highlight the paper, so it has minimal other elements to distract the attention.
I have used Pink and Mains Large Fish Tail Banner dies to cut both the patterned paper and the red backing paper. I love the extra stitching detail. The Merry Christmas is one of the die sentiments in the latest release, and the size makes it perfect for making a statement on a card.
To finish off the card, I added some Nuvo Drops in red and sparkly blue, including one red drop to be the dot over the letter i. (It’s called a tittle, if you should ever need that in real life!) This is definitely a card that could be made in multiples, which is an absolute non negotiable for Christmas cards for me.
