Hello, again! It’s Andrea with you. Do you ever struggle with masculine cards? I do, but the new Timber and Happy Camper stamp sets make creating those sooo much easier! Today I have a masculine retirement card featuring those sets, as well as the Pattern Maker stamp set.
I started by stamping images from both Timber and Happy Camper with Memento Tuxedo black ink. I colored everything with Copics and then used the coordinating dies to cut out the images.
Using one of my husband’s shirts as inspiration, I stamped a plaid background with the Pattern Maker stamp set. Onto olive green cardstock, I stamped various lines with red and black dye ink and white pigment ink. For the vertical lines, I first stamped the broken line and then stamped over it with the solid line in the same ink color. Once I was finished stamping, I die-cut the paper with the Stitched Rectangles Set 2 Dies and adhered it to a black card.
With the Stitched Circles Dies, I die-cut white and black circles. I stamped a sentiment from Happy Camper onto the white circle with Versafine Onyx Black ink before arranging my colored images on top. The lantern and backpack were adhered flush to the circle, while the other images were popped up with varying heights of foam adhesive. I adhered the two circles together and added them to the card with foam tape. I embellished the card with a few evergreen sprigs die-cut with the Winter Wreath Decor Dies.
Thanks for stopping by!
