Hello all,
I hope you are staying cool. I just got back from a 2 week vacation in Myrtle Beach, SC. While it was wonderful to get away, it was a heat index of 110 degrees the last week. I was able to spend some wonderful quality time with my mama. We had fun doing many things, but I really enjoyed organizing her sewing room. I got to see many quilting kits, finished projects, and not so finished projects, but many beautiful fabrics. So I was inspired to take the new nested hexagon dies that just came out today, and create a thank you card with a quilting inspiration. First, I embossed a piece of white card stock, then I cut out 7 small hexagon shapes from various papers to make a flower. I recommend laying out your pattern before adhering it. Start with the center of the flower and work your way out. I also used the Thanks die cut and word stamp. A little faux stitching, twine and a button and it was complete. A super fun card to make. Check out the 3 new die sets released today here. Thanks die can be found here or the stamp set here .
Happy crafting,
