Hey there! Katie here today with a fun and happy card with Father’s Day in mind. I hope you like it.
I live near some wetlands, and sometimes can hear frogs at night. I love these sweet little frogs, they are delightfully happy. I just want to visit them on the ponds edge.
Here is how I made this one. I started by stamping all the images from the stamp and die of the month called Ribbit. I colored the images with Copics, using YG09, YG07, YG06, YG67, YG17, YG03, YG91, C7, R37, R35, BG49, BG45, BG23, V11, V05, E11, E13, E15. Next, I used my Mini Ergonomic Blending Brush and added a little Salvaged Patina Oxide to the white backdrop for the sky. On that, I stamped the sentiment. Next, I used some Park Cardstock to create grass. I used some Lakeside Cardstock on the front to create a pond. On the pond, I added the images using a combo of EZ Tear Tape and Foam Tape. Then I added some white gel pen highlights to the images.
So what do you think? Aren’t they the cutest!?! I imagine them singing their babies to sleep.
