Happy Wednesday and welcome back! Laurie here with you this morning to share like a totally awesome card :)!
I’ve used the roller skate image from the My Jam Stamp Set as my focal image. But actually, in the end, I find the background to be the star of the card!
Let’s talk about that background. I used the Warped Stencil, which also has a retro feel to it. Instead of using an ink pad and blending tool to add colour, I used alcohol markers, in the same colours I used on the roller skate.
After randomly adding colour through the stencil, with the lightest shade of marker, I removed the stencil and added some simple shading to each dot. This added a little more interest.
I decided to cut down the stencilled panel using the Stitched Stars Dies in different sizes. I added the smaller stars with liquid adhesive and the largest star with foam tape. I added the roller skate with foam, as well. I simply stamped the sentiment in black.
I added some glitter pen and Nuvo Crystal Glaze and some black pen scribbles around the edge of the card.
