Good morning, Friends and welcome back! It’s Laurie with you to share a card made using an older stamp set called Travel Buddy. This is a sweet set that is full of travel themed images.
I kept this card fairly simple. Just stamped a few of the images, coloured them with alcohol markers and used the co-ordinating dies to cut them out.
I masked 3/4″ from both the top and bottom of an A2 card base with masking tape. I created my own stencil by using one of the Scallop Waves Dies and typing paper. I chose 3 different ink colours for the background. Unfortunately, I didn’t think this through. By using regular paper, the ink is easily transferred. So, basically I lost the blue colour and the background looks like a few shades of green. Oh well, I left it as is but learned my lesson!
I stamped the sentiment on the bottom left corner with black ink and foam mounted all the images except the hearts.
I added some Nuvo Crystal Glaze for a bit of shine through out the images.
I hope you enjoyed this look at some older products! I’m patiently waiting for the newest release to show up in my PO box. Have you seen the latest goodies?! They are so amazing! You can find them HERE.
Thank you so much for stopping by!
See you soon.
Laurie
