Hello everyone! Justin here, and today I’m sharing a thank you card that I created using the Berry Sweet set and Coordinating Dies! When it comes to building up my stash of cards, thank you cards are typically one of my most needed cards (after birthday cards), and it always helps when they have cute critters on them!
To create my card, I first stamped out the sitting bear, the reaching out bear, the strawberry vines, jam jar, and a grass tuft, all from the Berry Sweet stamp set. I colored them up with Copic Markers, and then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. I set them aside for later.
Next, I cut an A2-sized panel of blush-colored cardstock, and placed the Scattered Hearts stencil over top. Using an Ergonomic Blending Brush, I blended up, from top to bottom, Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry & Festive Berries Distress Oxide Ink. I removed my stencil and then splattered some slightly watered down Festive Berries Distress Oxide Ink onto the panel.
Next, I took the 2nd largest die from the Arch Tag Dies set, and used it to die cut a piece of blending cardstock. I took the die cut, and then masked off my tag to just reveal my sky area. I blended my sky with Spun Sugar & Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide Ink. I then splattered some Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Ink onto the sky portion. Then, I masked off my tag to only reveal my grass portion, which I blended up with Twisted Citrón & Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Inks. I finished off my tag by using a black ink to stamp the sentiment “Thank you berry much!”.
Using my EZ Squeeze Adhesive, I adhered my tag piece to my Scattered Hearts panel. I then adhered my Strawberry Vine & Grass Tuft colored pieces with EZ Squeeze Adhesive. I adhered both of the bears, with the one now holding the Jam Jar, with foam tape. I finished off my project by adding some White Glitter Enamel Dots!
