Hello P&M Fans,
I have a cool masked card to share with you today. I used our newest stamp sets released this month in honor of Pink and Mains 4th birthday. The product links will be at the bottom of this post.
First I stamped and die cut the cake, hat, and little boy from the Birthday Kids set. I love how intricate the boy and his balloons cut out. I colored them using my trusty copics and added dimension to the cake with stickles. I added a little highlighting with a white gel pen. Nothing too fancy as I wanted the background to pop. I used a standard A4 white card for the base. Embossed the sentiments with WOW! Embossing Powder in white.
Below are detailed instructions on how I created the masked heart background. I used Pink and Main’s new surface inks which created awesome blended colors. What I like best about using these is they are very vivid, blend easily and dry quickly. If you haven’t tried them they come in convenient small cubes which makes it much more economical to collect all the many colors. Which by the way, they coordinate with our paper pads! 🙂
