Hello Everyone and welcome to Pink and Main blog!
It is Ksenija here and I have an adorable interactive card to share with you this morning.
Yesterday the August release was revealed completely. What did you like most? I found the entire release awesome and very inspiring.
For my today’s card I used several new products from Pink and Main to build an interesting interior of the side folding tunnel card.
I started with die cutting windows from the inside panels with the Stitched Top Note Dies, the third and the fourth dies counted from outside fit perfectly a standard portrait card and make a tunnel look.
Prior to ink blending I added a sentiment Autumn Greetings from the Fall Friends stamps set to the bigger (double folded) card panel in white embossing.
Then I continued with ink blending and stencilling to decorate these panels. I made my own curved paper mask, masked off the sky part and blended several shades of green inks to make a meadow. When the shading of the grass was done, I covered it with the second part of the mask and removed the mask from the upper part of the panel.
Using the Clouds Stencil I blended softly blue shades of inks to make Autumn cloudy sky. I used the same stencil to apply a glimmer paste to make two sparkling clouds. How handy is this stencil? It has shaped borders for making cloudy sky and three cloud shaped windows for stencilling individual clouds.
Following video instructions from Jennifer McGuire I assembled my Tunnel card.
To decorate the front panel of the card I blended the same blue shades of ink to the card base and covered it with the Basket die cut panel. HERE I explain how I use the Basket Cover Die to achieve the natural look. For my today’s card I also added some shading with Copic marker in matching light brown colour.
The smaller Stitched die cut left after die cutting the card panels I used as a mat for the sentiment from the Season of Change stamps set. A little birdie and acorns from the same set add enough interest to the front panel.
To make a scene inside the tunnel card I die cut, stamped and coloured with Copic markers several images from the Season of Change stamps set. This bear holding a pumpkin is so darling and very exciting to colour. HERE you can see my different colouring of it. My favourite details of this image are a scarf and tiny patches on its elbows.
I like to mix and match stamps sets and add small details. Autumn leaves from the Fall Friends stamps and co-ordinating dies set create a feeling of a windy Autumn day.
To finish off my card I accented two pumpkins with a glitter glue.
Thank you so much for stopping by and have a great day!
