Hello Beautiful Spring Butterfly Card

Hi hi! Even though we recently had a snow storm in my area, today it feels warm and Springy! Perfect for the new Hello Beautiful stamps and dies from Pink & Main!

I love the classic purple and yellow color combination. It’s one of my favorites! And throw in some pretty polka dots and I’m totally sold! The Preppy Brights 6×6 patterned paper pad has so many gorgeous patterns! I picked out a pretty yellow and white polka dot pattern for my background. I die cut the Fancy Lattice Die from white cardstock and layered it over the patterned paper.

There are so many possibilities with the Hello Beautiful stamp set! If has a large butterfly image with the solid pattern for pretty colored inks and an outline image to stamp over the top or stamp separately and color in. I stamped the large solid image with a light purple ink at the top and a medium ink at the bottom and then filled in the center of the butterfly with a dark purple ink. I used the same dark purple ink to stamp the outline of the butterfly image on top of the solid image. I stamped the smaller butterflies from the Hello Beautiful stamp set with various shades of purple ink and used a darker ink for the outline images.

I die cut all of the images with the coordinating Hello Beautiful dies and popped them up with with foam tape on top of my card background. I stamped a sentiment from the Hello Beautiful stamp set with yellow ink and trimmed it into a banner and adhered it across the center of the butterfly. So easy and perfect for spring! You could mix and match color combos and create a whole set of beautiful spring butterfly cards! See you soon!
