Have a Sweet Christmas

Hey lovelies, It is Tracy here with you today sharing a sneak peek of the new release which will be available on 20th of this month and it is themed around all things winter and some gorgeous holiday sets.

I couldn’t resist using the new Sweet Christmas stamp set as I do have a sweet tooth and holiday season is a good time to indulge in all things sweet.

I started off by creating a A2 top folding card base with some Kraft card and then using a faint ink I stamped various of the smaller elements from the stamp set.

I then put that to one side and stamped the Christmas Pudding stamp from the set using the same ink and did some “no line” colouring with colored pencils and then die cut the pudding out using the co-ordinating dies.

I wanted this to be a fairly clean and simple card and stamped and heat embossed the sentiment “Have a sweet christmas” onto a strip of the same kraft card. Looking at the card if i was to recreate this card I would probably stamp the sentiment with black ink to make it pop a bit more.

I add a strip of gold card behind the sentiment to add a little shine to the whole card and then adhered everything to the base.

I did toy with adding some embellishments but I like that the pudding is the main focal point and didn’t want to distract from that.

This is such a fun stamp set and a lot of the elements could be used at other times of the year too.
