Hi Friends! Just a card today to wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving. I hope that you have plans with family and / or friends to share some time together, even if it’s just over the phone. My sister and I are both born in the last week in November so it’s always been a sentimental time of year for me. I can’t tell you how many pumpkin pies I’ve seen with birthday candles in them in my lifetime!
When I saw these Pink & Main Harvest Turkeys I just couldn’t resist! They’re adorable! This set includes several sweet images and a few sentiments to celebrate this time of year! And of course there is Pumpkin Pie too!
I love to make scene cards with cute critters. I cut waves of Great Outdoors Pattern Paper that remind me of a pretty tablecloth. Woodgrain with a large Fun Scallop edge border makes a focal point for the turkey with the balloon!
The turkeys were easy to color with alcohol markers. I wanted to add some of my favorite fall colors to their feathers.. oranges, reds, and yellows. I think these little guys look like fall peacocks!
