Hey there friends! How are you on this fine Wednesday? Hopefully you are enjoying summer and happy 4th of July/Independence Day to those in the USA. I have so been enjoying making summer cards, aside form holiday cards, they are my fave.
Today’s card features some fun products from the most recent release, including the Stay Cool Stamps and Dies and the Curly Waves Stencil. Here is how I made today’s Card, I started by using the Curly Waves Stencil on a 4X45.25 sheet of white and used my Mini Ergo Blending Brush with Peacock and Mermaid Distress Oxide to create the backdrop. I spritzed this with water and then with white ink spray and let it dry. Next, I used the Oval Die with the Dress Shop Cardstock and mounted this on the center of my stenciled layer with the EZ Tear Tape. Next, I stamped the image from Stay Cool Stamps and cut it out with the coordinating Stay Cool Dies. I colored the image with my Copics (BG09, BG13, BG15, BG18, BG23, BG32, BG45, BG49, YG23, YG17, YG03, G09, G28, RV17, RV19, V09, B05, BV02, BV000) and the used a white gel pen to highlight them. I mounted them using foam tape. Then I used a small stamp from Waves of Cheer and blue ink next to the waves. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment in black.
My favorite part of the image is the waves, I think they are so pretty colored in these different blues. But in all honestly, it is all beautiful in such vivid colors. I am ready to slip on my flip flops and walk across the sand.
I hope you like this card. Thank you so much for visiting! Please visit the shop, FB, IG and YT for more inspiration.
