Hi friends, this is Caitlin and today I am sharing this really fresh feeling fall card. I instantly fell in love with the Pick of the Patch Stamp Set and wanted to make a slightly more clean and simple card for it. I started out by stamping the flying leave, the mushroom and the little pumpkin on the stump with the Asphalt Premium Dye Ink and letting it dry for a few minutes. I used my Copic Sketch Markers to color the images in and the coordinating dies to cut them out.
I wanted to change up my card size a little so I grabbed the Mod Stitched Mini Slim Dies and cut a panel with the Wildflowers Card Stock. I decided it needed just a little bit more detail so I ran that through my die cutting machine with the Leaves 6×6 Embossing Folder. I love the tone on tone pattern and texture that this brings to the card. I wanted to balance out all of this bold color with some more white since the die cuts have the white boarder so I cut a 6 in x 3.5 in white panel and made a mini slim white card base as well.
I never use twine but I have so much of it so I wrapped my white panel with orange and white twine 3 times at different angles and taped it in place on the back with washi tape. I glued it down flat(ish) with liquid glue to my card base and added my orange panel with foam tape on top. To spread my images out longer to fit the mini slim size, I cut one of the leaves away from the other two and tucked them on either side of the pumpkin. I added all of my images with liquid glue leaving some space at the bottom for my sentiment. I stamped my sentiment with a burnt orange ink and cut it with the coordinating die. I added that below my little scene and the card was complete. I just love how sweet and light this card feels while still having so many rich fall colors.
