Happier Than…

… a pig in mud!

Happy Monday! Katie here today with a sneak peek for you from the upcoming release. It is gonna have you squealing … pun intended.

Seriously, these piggies! Wait until you see the rest of them! Tomorrow, when the release is live, check out the new Pig Time Stamps and Coordinating Die Set. But first, let me share today’s card and how I made it.

This was so fun and so easy to make. First, stamp and color your piggies (Copics E00, E02, E95) and use the coordinating dies to cut them out. Set that aside. Then I used the new Garden DP pack and the new Concave Rectangles to create the background layers. Next, I used the Layered Oval dies to create a mud puddle. I used light brown cardstock and then used distress ink and my ergo brush to make them darker in places. I added highlights and hand cut a few mud splats. Next, I used some green cardstock and the leaves from the Sympathy Slim Line Dies. I tucked them under the puddles and added highlights. Then I added some floral embellishments. I mounted my piggie with foam tape. Lastly, to pull on the blue from the flowers, I stamped the sentiment on some blue cardstock and mounted it.
