Hello! Ardyth here with 3 cards I made using the Reverse Scallop circles dies.
For the first one, I used all 3 of the Reverse Scallop Circle dies with the sunshine die from Summer Wreath Decor in the centre. I cut them all at once from white cardstock, then I blended ink onto each one before inlaying them back together to create my colourful focal image.
I used the previously-released Happy Birthday die set as my sentiment and combined sequins and jewels for a fun embellishment.
The other two cards are based on the same idea, with different results. I created some sandy ‘desert islands’ by blending light brown ink onto the largest Reverse Scallop Circle die cut.
I stamped a sentiment from Starfish Wishes into the centre piece of the die cut, using embossing ink and white embossing powder. Then I blended blue inks over top. I spritzed water over the blue inks to add some texture and interest.
I cut and coloured 8 palm trees from Summer Wreath Decor and glued them to the circle. I added Nuvo Crystal drops and Stone Drops as embellishments.
My final card has a similar layout, but is much more clean and simple. I left the circle die cut white, and glued it to a 4.25×4.25 card base. I cut 8 of the ice creams from Summer Wreath Decor and coloured them with copic markers. I used a sentiment from Happy House which seemed just as appropriate for ice cream as for the drinks it was really intended for!
I’ve enjoyed being a Guest here this month and I hope you’ve been inspired by my work. I want to say a very big thank you to Michelle for inviting me!
