Great Things

Happy Tuesday! Katie back with another fun creating using the latest release. This one is meant to be encouraging to all the ladies out there working long hard hours.

For this card, I used the Mom LIfe Stamp and coordinating Mom Life Die set. For some reason this set really resonates with me… maybe because I am tired all the time. Regardless, I enjoy the set and enjoyed making this card. After stamping my images, I colored them with Copics. I used C5, C3, C1, YG23, YG11, E00, E02, R35, 24, R22, R42, B26, B24, B23, Y15, Y13. Then i cut my images out with the dies and set them aside. Next, I knew I wanted to use the Double Stitched Dome dies to create a window for my night sky, so I used some Butterfly Kisses paper pad and cut out a window. I put this aside and used my Mini Ergonomic Blending Brush with Chipped Sapphire, Broken China, Lilac and Mustard distress oxide on white to create the background and added a few yellow splatters for stars. I mounted this on a white base using EZ Tear tape and then mounted my window layer using foam tape. Next, I added in my images using glue and foam tape. I stamped the sentiment from the Pretty Peony Stamp Set in blue, cut it out and mounted that white that I cut out using the Large Sentiment Strip Die set. I added this to the upper right. Lastly, I added some On the Town Gems.

All P&M supplies listed below:
Stamps: Mom Life Stamp Set, Pretty Peony Stamp Set
Dies: Mom Life Coordinating Die Set, Double Stitched Dome Dies, Large Sentiment Strip Dies
Other: Butterfly Kisses Paper, Mini Ergonomic Blending Brush, EZ Squeeze Craft Glue and EZ Tear Tape, On the Town Gems

You might be wondering why I chose a red-head, well, I recently had lunch with a friend who is a read head and for some reason she was on my mind when I made this card.

Well friends, that is all for today. I hope you enjoyed this post and thank you for visiting. Please be sure to check out the shop for the products listed above, and IG and FB for much more inspiration from the DT.

Have a great Tuesday! ~Katie
