Good morning, crafty peeps and welcome back!! Laurie here to share a fall themed themed card using some of the newest products in the shop!
The new Quilt Square 2 Die is absolutely beautiful and I couldn’t wait to use it! I started by embossing the die into a panel of kraft cardstock and trimming off the excess. I then used the die again, this time as intended. I used white cardstock and used some Distress Inks to add colour to the fall out pieces of the leaf.
I was going to adhere the coloured pieces as is but decided they needed a little dimension. I didn’t want to use white foam adhesive so I die cut the leaf, again, out of kraft. I adhered the coloured pieces to the kraft pieces, then glued them onto the card. It really gave great dimension!!
The sentiment comes from the Fall Sentiments Stamp Set which I gold heat embossed onto vellum and trimmed out. I wrapped the sentiment strip around the card front and adhered the panel to a square, white card base.
I added a few glitter embellishments and this card is done! I also have that gorgeous inked, die cut leaf for another project!!
