May Release Sneak Peek: Gone Fishing

Hello everyone! Justin here, and today I am sharing a sneak peek of the brand new 3″ x 4″ set Gone Fishing, which is part of Pink & Main’s May Release! This set is just perfect for Father’s Day, or the fishing friend in your life!

I created a pair of mini-slimline cards very easily by taking one piece of the Year Round Dots & Stripes Paper Pack and cutting it in half. I used the striped side for one card, and the dotted card for the other side.

I stamped 2 of the fishing rods from Gone Fishing, colored them with Copic Markers, and then cut them out with the coordinating dies.

I die cut a pair of white Zig Zag Circles using the Zig Zag Circles Die Set, and then a pair of vellum Zig Zag Circles using the next size up. I blended up the white circles with a 2-color aqua ombré using dye ink, and then used a darker blue ink to stamp a random pattern of fish bait images from the stamp set.

Using the Large Sentiment Strip Dies, I die cut 2 banners, and heat embossed my sentiments using the Embossing Ink Pad and Frosting Embossing Powder.

I adhered my colored Zig Zag Circles to the Vellum Zig Zag Circles and then adhered them directly to my card. I adhered my fishing rods and sentiments using foam tape, and then adhered a few Butterfly Kisses Enamel Dots. I adhered both cards to a card base and was completed!
