Hello Pink and Main friends, It’s Donna here, living and crafting among the packing boxes in Tokyo. Only two more weeks before we head to Australia! I have a last summer hurrah (for me, anyway – you guys go right ahead and keep enjoying the warm weather, while I move to mid winter!) To celebrate the last of my summer, I have a fun sea themed card for you.
This card has a “Z fold” design, with the left hand side of the card folded in half, back on itself. I cut panels of patterned paper from the Vitamin Sea Paper Pack for the background, layering this up with a plain blue layer behind it.
I have used the Flip Out Stamp Set for the main panel of this card, stamping the sentiment directly onto a panel that I cut using a Stitched Rectangle die. I used a black ink. This panel is only stuck down on the left hand side, so that the card opens freely. I stamped the flip flops separately, and die cut them with the Flip Out dies before popping them up with foam tape.
The final touch was three Vitamin Sea Enamel Dots, and the card was done! I look forward to sharing the new July release with you very soon, but until then….. enjoy the sunshine!
