This is my final post for Pink & Main today. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time on the team and getting to play with the awesome stamps. You can keep up-to-date with my crafty life on my blog: Memoriesbymanda
For my final post I decided to use a stamp set that I purchased from Pink & Main to show that I like their stamps so much that I would purchase them myself. The stamp set is called Bling. Sparkle is my One Little Word (OWL) for 2015 so this set is perfect for documenting that.
At the recent scrapbooking expo in New Zealand I purchased gold crackle embossing paste and I wanted to give it a try. I slathered the gold crackle through a stencil on cream cardstock. After waiting impatiently for it to dry I was really happy with the result. I did ink over it with a colour that blended with the background card and it just made the gold pop. Next up I layered an inked doily and flower then I created the centre piece. I embossed the shine bright bling with some copper and glitter embossing powder. It’s unfortunate that the shine doesn’t show up in the photos. I did go over the white space of the design with an alcohol pen to blend the colour in with the rest of the card. Here’s a close up of the details.
This is the stamp set I used for the card – Never Let Anyone Dull Your Sparkle is perfect for the inside of this card.
