Hey there! Katie here today. I missed you all last week, but I am back this week with a fun fall card featuring the cute August Pup!
Fall cards make for such a fun color palette and I love that every year there is one atypical color thrown in the mix. Sometimes it is teal, pink or purple, which I have thrown into this card.
Here is how I made this one. I stamped the August Pup Stamp with my Asphalt Ink using my Misti. Then I cut the image out with the coordinating August Pup Dies. I colored the image with my Copics and Olo Markers. I colored the scarf yellow, but I added some green stripes to it. I added black glaze pen to the eyes and nose and added white gel pen highlights. Then I pulled out my Concave Rectangle Die and cut some Construction Cardstock and some purple cardstock. I ran the orange layer through with the Grid Embossing Folder and then tacked these layers down to a dark brown base with the EZ Tear Tape. Next, I die cut the word Fall using some Pebble Cardstock, Asphalt Cardstock and Balloon Alpha Dies. I added some white gel highlights to them and popped them up with Foam Tape. Then I popped up the main image with foam tape.
This pup is so happy and sweet, I really adore him, one of my fave of all the pup sets. What do you think of this card? Are you feeling the fall vibe?
Thank you for visiting today, I appreciate it. Please come on back next week, but in the meantime, visit all our other inspiration spots- FB, IG and YT. Then head to the shop to pick up some goodies!
