It’s summertime! And it’s hard to do anything else but dream of the beach! The Summer Sloths Stamp Set from Pink & Main has a bunch of cute summer critters doing all kinds of fun summer activities and I just couldn’t resist this guy laying out on his beach towel!
I love that this card is so simple and it gave me a chance to mix some new summer products from Pink & Main with the Summer Splash Paper Pad from last year’s summer release! I stamped the sloth image from the Summer Sloths Stamp Set onto white cardstock and colored him with Copic Markers then I die cut him with the coordinating Summer Sloths Die Set.
I thought this image would go fabulously with the Summer Splash 6×6 Paper Pad, so I picked out some of my favorite patterns to use for my card – a difficult thing to do since this paper pad is one of my all time favorites! I had these patterns in mind while coloring my image and used colors that would coordinate well together. The Layered Rectangles A2 Dies make cutting the perfect size of paper a BREEZE! And they help cutting down on waste! I was able to die cut the center of a piece of patterned paper and keep the leftovers since I didn’t have to chop up the whole piece to get the portion of the pattern I wanted for my card.
I popped up my Summer Sloths image onto a piece of the Summer Splash Paper and stamped a sentiment from the Summer Sloths Stamp Set to the right of the image, then I layered the rest of the pieces onto my card.
That’s all! I hope you enjoyed this quick and easy inspiration using the Summer 2020 release from Pink & Main!
