Hey everyone. It’s Dana with you today. I am loving all the floral dies that Pink and Main came out with. So today’s card is featuring one of those dies. The Daisy dies are perfect for those quick cards that need a bold floral accent.
For my card I pulled out the new Back To Basics 6×6 paper pad. This paper pad is perfect for adding a quick design to your petals. I die cut three of the daisies from this paper and three of the leaves. Next I pulled some inks in coordinating colors to color white card stock for the center of my flowers. To keep this card simple I stenciled just two of the corners of a card base with a dotted stencil with light gray ink.
Now to adhere all these pretty daisies to the card base. First I glued down the leaves to the card base. Next I placed down the orange flower and glued it down. I them added the yellow and purple flowers around the orange one. (Remember odd number of items on a card is very appealing 😉) Keeping with the simplicity of the card, I stamped a sentiment from the Party Balloons stamp set onto a gray card stock strip and heat embossed it in white. I popped up the sentiment on foam tape the give the card some dimension.
So what would you use the new Back To Basics paper pad for? Leave a comment below. Also make sure to upload your creations to the Pink and Main Facebook Gallery Group. We would love to see what you’re creating. Have an awesome day everyone.
