Hello Pink and Main friends. It’s Donna here, and as you’re reading this, I’m on a plane heading back to live in Japan. This will be our last few months In Japan, and I’m really sad at the thought of leaving after 5 years, even though I’m not even back there yet!!! I have a card to share with you today that is full of fun Easter goodies!
This card is made using the Easter Basket Cut and Emboss Folder. I ran through some textured Kraft cardstock for the basket, then added some shading to the high places with Copic Markers. The texture of the folder, combined with the texture of the paper, and the colouring give a really ‘basketty’ feel.
I also cut Easter eggs using the same Easter Basket Cut and Emboss Folder. I used papers from the All Occasions Florals 6×6 paper pack for the eggs, and put some face up and some face down so that the texture on some would be reversed. I used a bright pink paper from the same pack for one of the background layers. The sentiment comes from a stamp set called Hippity Hoppity. I stamped it in black onto white card.
The final touch on the card was some Glitter Enamel dots from various Pink and Main packs. I used them in the centres of the flowers and on the top of the basket.
This fun Easter card was easy to make, and could easily be changed around with different paper choices. I hope that you are doing well, and I’ll see you again very soon!
