Hi, everyone! Samantha here on the Pink and Main Blog today excited to share a fun, crafting-inspired card featuring the new Crafty Happy Time Stamp Set.
To start my card I grabbed my stamp set and stamped all of my images onto Copic Xpress-It paper in Memento black ink. I also grabbed the August Mug Stamp Set from my stash and stamped out two of the cute crayon images. Next, I colored all of the images using my Copic markers keeping with magentas, bright blues, and bright greens before cutting out the images with the Crafty Happy Time Dies and the August Mug Dies.
Next it was time to create my card layout, so I grabbed my Card Cut Essentials Set 1 Dies and my Card Cut Essentials Set 2 Dies along with a light lavender polka dot pattern paper from the Fun Basics Paper Pack. Using a few sheets of heavy white cardstock I cut out a grid frame using the Card Cut Essentials 1 Die and I backed it with a cool-toned light pink solid cardstock. Next, I cut my pattern paper to 4″ x 5.25′ and adhered it to a folding white, A2-sized card-base before adhering my grid as shown above.
Once my basic layout was complete I arranged all of my images as shown and adhered them with foam tape for a little added dimension.
To finish everything off, I stamped a sentiment from the Crafty Happy Time Stamp Set onto white cardstock in black ink and cut it out using a stitched flag banner die from the Card Cut Essentials Set 2 Dies. I decided I needed one more element to add a little more weight to the bottom of the card, so I cut a small stitched heart from magenta cardstock, also using the Card Cut Essentials Set 2 Dies.
I am so happy with how this turned out. Its perfect to send to a crafty friend.
