Christmas Wreath card

Hello Pink and Main friends. It’s Donna here, reporting in from Japan, where we’ve just had three(!) typhoons. What a place!

I’m loving the Christmas release from Pink and Main. I’m not even really getting started on using all the lovely supplies in the release. I have a card to share with you today that uses the beautiful wreath from the Holiday Wreaths stamp set. This lovely elegant set is perfect for classy cards.

I have stamped the image in Copic friendly ink, and coloured using just two shades of green and red for a simple wreath. I then cut the wreath out using the matching die, ( I’m so grateful for the dies when it comes to cutting the insides of shapes!) before adding Nuvo drops for some of the berries. I then set this wreath aside to dry completely (I left it overnight – I’ve had too many cards ruined by my impatience!)

I then used the Reverse Scallop Border die to cut a frame for my wreath. My choice of blue for the background was inspired by the lovely colours in the Be Merry paper pad. I adhered the background and border down flat, and popped the wreath up with foam tape.
