Hello Pink and Main friends. It’s Donna here from donnaisplayingpaper, and I have a set of four Christmas cards. I don’t tend to make a lot of cards in multiples, but Christmas card are the exception, because I send so many. So here is a set of card that is quick and easy to make in larger numbers, and still has lots of dimension and shine.

To begin with I used the Ornaments Cut and Emboss folder, and cut a bunch of shiny silver ornaments. This folder cuts the ornament and adds the detail all in one pass! I used Pink and Main’s Holographic paper to do this, but foil cardstock would also be fabulous. I then used some white cotton (crochet cotton, I think- I’ve had it in my stash forever) and taped this to the back of each ornament, near the top.

I cut the backgrounds from some papers from the Merry and Bright Paper pack from Pink and Main. I used the second largest of the Stitched Rectangles 1 dies for this. I then popped the ornaments up with double sided tape, and then used more double sided tape to attach the strings to the back of the patterned papers.

The final touch was the sentiments, which I had foiled for previous cards. These sentiments have come in so handy this Christmas. I love the shine they add to all my Christmas cards. I used the Christmas sentiments foilable and I foiled these in Shattered Red Cheerfoil, before slicing them up.

That’s all for today’s cards. I hope you’re having a super day. Until next time,
Blessings,
