Hey everyone. It’s Dana with you today. I’m sharing a card using the new Celebrate stamp set and coordinating die cuts. I love myself a pretty font and the font for Pink and Main’s word dies are so dreamy. They work perfectly for any card. For my card today, I made a rainbow-ish inspired alcohol ink background to start and die cut it out with the Thin Fishtail die cut from Pink and Main. I layered this onto an embossed piece of black card stock. Next I heat embossed the sentiment onto black card stock with white embossing powder. I trimmed these pieces down to be sentiment labels. I used the celebrate die for my main sentiment. I die cut it three times to give it some weight. Tip: When you layer the dies on top of each other they now become an embellishment because they are thicker than just one layer and have a better weight to them.)
You can see in this photo how thick the celebrate is. For a little bit of sparkle I added on a few clear sequins that I inked up with alcohol inks to match the background. Remember you can always make your sentiment stand out if you place it against a bright or dark background. Even though there is color on this card, the sentiment makes the card.
Thanks for stopping by today. See you back here soon.
