Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today with a card using Pink and Main’s Celebrate die set along with the It’s A Party paper pad.
I love when a sentiment set comes with a large die especially when it’s a versatile one. For today’s card, I focused in on the Celebrate die and cut a bunch in both white and blue cardstock. At first, I wanted to do a tone on tone card with the sentiment but I wanted to pull in more color. I decided to layer the white cardstock on top of the blue cardstock creating a shadow effect. I will also glue these sentiments on top of a darker gray cardstock to really have it them pop as well.
I used one of the pieces of paper from the It’s A Party paper pad and trimmed it at a slant. I wanted all the sentiments to run diagonally on the card base on that same slant.
Once I glued all my pieces down, my card is more or less done. However, I had some left over scraps from the paper pad and wanted to incorporate the paper further. I trimmed out a handful of the colorful dots and decorated around the sentiment.
It was such a simple and easy card to put together and I really loved how it turned out. What do you think?
