Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie back on the blog today to share a card using some new release items which center around a birthday celebration!
I focused on the new stamp set, Party Balloons, along with their coordinating dies. I used various inks from Pink & Main to stamp these balloons out. The set also comes along with patterns for them as well so instead of just a simple solid balloon, you can have fun ones! Once I finished stamping them out, I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I wanted to add another touch to them, so I pulled out some twine and tied them to the balloons.

I pulled out a fun piece of patterned paper from the It’s A Party paper pad and trimmed it down at a slant to add to the bottom of the card. It adds a bit of interest to the bottom of the card and allows me to add the sentiment right on top.
I used the Celebrate die to cut out three layers of the word on white cardstock. I glued these together for dimension.

To put this card together, I added the patterned paper to the bottom of the card and added foam tape on the back of the balloons to pop them up on the card. I thought it would be fun to do. I pulled taunt the twine and taped them on the back of the card. I added the sentiment right on top of the twine.

To give it a sheen of glitter, I used Spectrum Noir’s Clear Sparkle Marker on the balloons and makes it so pretty! You can’t see it from the pictures but trust me, it’s there!

Thanks for stopping by! Come back soon!
Is the sparkle marker like winking Stella?

Have a great day!
