Hello Pink and Main friends. It’s Donna here, and I have a soft and sparkly card for you today.

This card uses the petals stencil, and glitter gel to give this radiant effect. I taped the stencil to some regular white cardstock, placing it a little off centre, so that the petals would fan out from about a third of the way up the card.
I then smooshed a little mauve dye ink onto my craft mat, and also smooshed a little glitter gel from Thermoweb nearby on the mat. I mixed a little of the glitter gel with the ink to give a medium colour, and spread this over the stencil, near the middle of the petal burst. I then slowly mixed more glitter gel into the mix making the colour lighter and lighter as more gel was added, and spreading this moving bit by bit towards the edges.

This gradient sparkly piece was originally intended as a background, but I couldn’t bear to put anything on top of it in the end, except a sparkly sentiment from the Spring Sentiments stamp set. I cut this sentiment out with the Sentiment Strip Dies that match this size of the sentiments in the Pink and Main sets perfectly.

This really is a lovely stencil, and I love the way the petals draw your eyes to the centre sentiment. My only regret is that I could only partially catch the sparkle on camera.
Until next time, I wish you butterfly kisses and rainbow wishes. Doesn’t that sound like exactly what everybody needs?
Blessings,
