Hello friends – Bri here! I am back today to share a holiday card design featuring the new Christmas Streamers Stamp Set from the Pink and Main September release. Keep reading below for more details on how I made this holiday card full of sparkle.
First, I heat embossed the Christmas Streamers Stamp Set with the new Sterling Embossing Powder onto two separate pieces of White cardstock. Both pieces of cardstock were A2 sized.
Next, I set one of the backgrounds aside while ink blending over top the heat embossed areas on the other piece of cardstock. I used Mermaid Lagoon, Blueprint Sketch, and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide inks to create a wintery blue background mix. After ink blending, I used plain water to pick up some of the ink to give it a more snowy-textured look. Once the background dried I used a variety of circle dies to die cut some random areas on the ink blended streamer background.
After die cutting, I used EZ Squeeze Craft Glue to glue down the ink blended circles in their proper placement. I love how the circles just add a pop of color to the clean background.
To finish the card I heat embossed the sentiment with the Sterling Embossing Powder onto a strip of dark blue cardstock and glued it to the bottom left corner of the card.
Thank you for stopping by the blog. I really hope this project inspires you today!
