Hello friends – Bri here! Today I am sharing an exciting sneak peek of the November 2022 Pink and Main release. This project features of the new Cuckoo Clock stamp and coordinating die set and the new Basket embossing folder. These items, along with the rest of this month’s release, will be available on Friday, November 18th . Keep reading below for more details on how I made this timely project!

To create the textured background on the front panel, I used the new Basket Embossing Folder and dark green ink on a solid bright green cardstock. Once the cardstock dried I die cut it with a scalloped edge rectangle die to give it more of a vintage feel. I glued the textured panel to a A2 sized white panel to create the background.

Next, I colored all of the images with my Copic markers. I wanted to go with a more vintage color scheme so I tried to stick with bold reds, blues, and greens. The colors I used are listed at the end of this post. The clock and gnomes are attached to the card front with foam tape for some dimension.

To create the scene at the bottom of the card I trimmed a scrap piece of brown cardstock to 4.25″ wide to create a tiny hillside. I colored a few more of the adorable images from the Cuckoo Clock set and glued them to the hillside.

Finally, I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder onto an extra large sentiment strip die cut from navy card stock. The sentiment strip is tucked right under the clock on the left hand side. To finish the card I added coordinating enamel dots from the Blessings Glitter Enamel Dots set for embellishment.

Thank you for stopping by the blog. I really hope this project inspires you today!
