Hi everyone and happy first day of Spring!
Ilina here! I love layering stencils and the new Birthday Candles stencil set is no exception!!! I love the easy of creating super fun and colorful birthday candles in minutes.
For my card today I paired up the stencil with the Party Animals stamp set (just a sentiment from it) to create super fun rainbow candles.
To make the card, start with an A2 piece of white paper and rainbow assortment of ink colors.
Position the stencil on top and secure it. Using light pressure and Ergonomic Ink Blending brush apply light coat of ink. Remove the stencil and position the 2nd one. Now, use little bit more ink (samе colors) and little bit more pressure to make the second layer more saturated.
Next, the same way apply color to the flames of the candles.
Trim the panel to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and set aside.
Stamp sentiment using Versamark ink on black cardstock and emboss in white. Trim to a trip. Adhere to the stenciled panel and adhere to a white note card to finish it off. You can use foam tape or craft foam to add dimension!
